How to Grow Basil and Tomatoes Together

Growing basil and tomatoes together is a great way to enjoy the benefits of two flavorful herbs in one garden. Start by placing your tomato plants about 18 inches apart from each other. This gives them enough room to spread out and produce lots of fruit. Then, plant your basil plants around the edges.
